A Tour to Snow-Capped Ladakh

Day: 1 Delhi Arrival / Leh ( By Flight )

While you reach Delhi, you can board an early morning flight to arrive the paradise on Earth – Leh. Nestled between the majestic Himalayan Ranges and the Karakoram, Leh soaring at an altitude of 11800ft above sea level rests as the capital city of Ladakh. On arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by tour executives heartily and moved to the resort. While you step in the hotel, you can immediately check-in and relax for the day by rejuvenating and getting accustomed to the low air pressure. In the afternoon, you can explore Shanti Stupa which is a stunning Buddhist white dome-shaped stupa. Later, you can set on a shopping tour of the local markets and getting Kashmiri stuff. You can come back to your room to have a cozy and relaxing overnight stay.

Day: 2 Leh – Spituk – Pather Sahib – Leh

After you complete your breakfast, you can choose to drive to Spituk Monastery which is situated 8 Km away from Leh. Also known as Spituk Gompa, the foundation of this historical attraction can be traced back to the 11th century by Od-de. Next, you can explore Gurdwara Pathar Sahib that was established in 1517 and was dedicated to the memory of Guru Nanak. After this, you can choose to explore the popular Magnetic Hill that is set on Leh-Kargil-Srinagar Highway. Situated at a height of 11,000 ft above the sea level, this hill also known as Gravity Hill will keep you spell-bound. After visiting this hill you can return to your hotel to enjoy a pleasurable night stay.

Day: 3 Leh / Pangong Lake ( 220 Kms - 06 Hrs )

On completion of breakfast, you can embark on a full-day outing to Pangong Lake, situated at 135 Km away from Leh. Pangong Lake standing at an altitude of 13,000 ft is 3.5 km in width and 140 km in its length. You can experience the scenic vistas and the splendor of the placid lake to take home some unforgettable memories. Later, you can return to the hotel. During the evening hours, you can go out to walk around the local markets at Leh. You can also collect some local souvenirs like hand-woven rugs, woolens, handicrafts, Buddhist masks, Thangka paintings and several other amazing items. Come back to the hotel to experience a comfortable night stay.

Day: 4 Leh / Khardungla Pass ( 40 Kms - 1.5 Hrs )

After having breakfast, start your day with a wonderful jaunt to Khardungla Pass that is entrenched at a peak of 18360 ft in height. It is possibly the highest motorable pass in the world. Next, you can witness the amazing view of the Sangam of Zanskar and Indus rivers. Spend some good moments there in between the serenity and beauty of Leh. Later, you can drive back through the Thiksey Monastery and the Magnetic Hill. In the way, you can view the Thiksey Monastery that boasts to be the home of the most picturesque sculpture of Maitreya Buddha in India. Following the sightseeing, you will revert back to your hotel in Leh to enjoy a relaxed night sleep.

Day: 5 Monasteries and Palaces

Post breakfast, you can spend the entire day while traveling around and discovering with the rich heritage and culture of Leh. Sightseeing trips around this magnificent place is also on the cards for the day. You can explore the Thiksey Gompa, counted among the most stunning monasteries in Ladakh. Next, take a visit to Shey Palace which is an old summer palace that used to be greatly popular during the reign of the earlier rulers of Leh. Also, visit Hemis Monastery that is also said to be the finest Gompa here. These monasteries considered to be architectural wonders and sanctified sites will offer you a great experience. Later, you can drive towards Stok Palace Museum that exhibits marvelous artifacts as well as other historical stuff. Later, you will be transferred to the hotel to get a good night sleep.

Day: 6 Leh - Departure

Early morning after savoring your breakfast you will be escorted to the airport for safe and on-time boarding of your flight for your next destination.
